What are their needs?

There is a lack of opportunity for the children to learn about protecting the earth in an engaging manner. Therefore, our group is going to instill into the children important moral values, and provide them with deeper understanding on the importance of protecting the environment and how they can play a part in keeping the environment clean. We provide education about the environment to the children through interactive methods to cater to the children’s learning needs.

Activities

1. Story telling: Stubborn Stacy

Animation combines with acting to grab the children’s attention.

2. Art and craft: Piggy bank

Provide the children with recycled plastic bottles to teach them the importance of recycling to the environment.

•Our group is collaborating with the other group in our class. Our group will be animating the first part of the story and the other group will be acting out the second part of the story for the children!

•Will show the importance of keeping our earth clean through the adventures of Dusty and Stacy

2. Spot the difference

•Allow children to identify the difference between a clean and dirty street
