Storytelling
In this activity, children can enjoy the stories through a skit and puppetry and they can also participate in the storytelling. This activity will raise children’s awareness on the environmental issues and also make them realise the significance of protecting the environment in the form of interesting and captive storytelling. Additionally, through this activity, children can build a sense of responsibility to the environment as well as learn some ways which they can adopt in their daily life to care for the environment.
Arts and Craft:
The children will create their personalised pencil holders using recycled materials. The proposed activity aims to make them realise that used items can be given a new leash of life and by inculcating a habit of recycling from young, they can do their part to preserve the environment as well.
Games:
Through a fun and interactive game of rubbish sorting, children will learn to exercise decision making skills and apply lessons learnt from the stories shared.
