PEACE-Connect Neighbourhood Link

PEACE-Connect Neighbourhood Link provides inter-generational activities, support and care for the residents of 21 blocks of flats in Kampong Glam. The spirit of PEACE-Connect is one "of the residents, for the residents and by the residents". Its special role is as an elderly-service provider, expanding to cover elderly from blocks of 1-room HDB rented units.

Our class planned activities with a slant towards the aims of PEACE-Connect. We strive to build a sense of communal belonging among the elderly, stimulate self-help among them and open doors of opportunites for self-development through teaching and learning activities and aim to inculcate good and healthy social lifestyle with sing along sessions and playing games.
