DRY RUN

We feel like we did well for the dry run as the games ran smoothly and without a hitch. We also had good time management and the teachers were good enough to cooperate with us to control the children. The children were also engaged while we were explaining the instructions to them and it was visible that the children enjoyed all the games that the 7 groups prepared. Also, the older children were able to put what they learnt into the game while the younger ones learnt through the game. Most of the children were also attentive and understood all the instructions.

However, for every group, we feel that we could have improved on our prototype and make them more presentable and visually appealing to the children to get them interested in the game. We also must learn to catch the attention of the children before speaking and at the same time, more communication between the children and us. Certain parts of various game also needs to be improved as the younger children do not understand how to play. Lastly, the rotation system is a little messy so we can improve on that as a whole class.

Overall, we feel that the dry run at Moral Childcare Centre was a fruitful experience for everyone and we will work harder for the real thing.
