WE ARE SERVING:

Children who are 4 to 6 years old

NEEDS: They require students who are passionate about educating the young about the environment. The children require hands on activities to engage them in their learning because they are easily distracted and their attention span is very limited. Students are to be able to connect with the level of understanding that kindergarten pupils have and educate them based on that.

ACTIVITIES PLANNED & HOW THEY MEET THEIR NEEDS: Teach them how to be more environmentally friendly by illustrating it through storybooks to the kids while at the same time entertaining them with our acting skills. These storybooks are suitable to be read to the young kids as it does not use complicated language, making it easier for the kids to understand the story and the morale behind it, and the acting out session is to aid them in visual learning. This way, we are empathising with the kids' level of understanding, meeting the needs of the kindergarten. We will instill the value of responsibility in them from a young age in a creative way by allowing them to make their own origami dustbins and throw their trash in them. This helps in capturing their attention as it will be physically engaging for the kids. We will also make an impact on them through a drawing activity where the kids will draw the Singapore in which they'd love to live in and compare it to the increasingly environmentally degrading country which they currently reside in.
