Little School House

After weeks of research and discussions, our class decided to split into two different groups doing two different organisations.

For the Little School House, they require programmes and events to be held for the pre-schoolers. With the research we did, we knew roughly what we could do to help them, but still follow the theme which is kindness. We then decided to do a programme with an aim to spread the message of kindness to them to play our part as members of the society. The main idea was to guide them to inculcate positive values in them at a young age.

We decided to understand more about the organisation to ensure a smoother process in the planning of the programme.Thus, one of our teams arranged to meet the organisation. The staff interviewed was very friendly and welcoming. She elaborated on how to treat the children and how we should behave when we are around them, as it is a very sensitive and important matter. There were mostly positive comments about the activities we suggested. She gave her thoughts on how to improve them to suit the aim of the programme better. She did not forget to run through the daily timetable, the layout of the centre and other important matters to consider. With the latest primary information, we adjusted our programmes and schedules to best suit the needs of our organisation.
